International Wine Challenge
central London,
England
The IWC is now recruiting for IWC crew members to help with the management and implementation of IWC2016 Tranche 1. We will need staff in our warehouse and tasting venue at the Kia Oval, Kennington, taking place from 2nd to 21st November 2015.
The right applicants will possess a can-do attitude, be hardworking and motivated as well as being able to work as part of an internationally diverse team. There will be wines from all over the world to unpack, collate and prepare before the two week tasting process. It’s gruelling work, long hours but very rewarding and informative. And it can be fun too.
Don’t worry if you don’t know anything about wine, or if you believe you are an expert. We need all abilities from carrying boxes (which there is a lot of) as well as help to identify wines. Everyone does the same roles, and they change frequently.
We will provide you with a really warm puffa jacket and t-shirts to work in. Please note the normal working hours will be 9am to 5.30pm each day during set up and 8am to 8pm when we are tasting as a minimum. And some weekends too. But you will get the opportunity to taste wines from all over the world and have a few Masterclasses from our co-chairs.
We will be interviewing for IWC Crew positions on Friday 9thOctober in central London. You need to be available for the whole period.
How To Apply
