Pay

£14-£17 per hour

Wine Server

Bar Rioja opened June 2023 part of the Camino Group.

  • A wine bar showcasing the current most exciting range and quality of wines from Rioja from the traditional to the most modern.
  • An expert sommelier will helpfully and enthusiastically explain the different styles of wine.
  • Delight in the fact that the wines of Rioja compete brilliantly with those of any other of the world’s wine producing regions in offering a very broad range of styles, grape varieties and an unbeatable quality to value ratio.
  • A food menu to enhance the Rioja wines.
  • As a Sommelier you will be responsible for hosting and looking after our customers – sharing your knowledge and passion for wines from Rioja. You will also train new staff.
  • Camino, a group of 3 award-winning tapas bars & restaurants.
  • Bar Rioja will be opening in the courtyard of our flagship venue Camino Kings Cross.

About you:

  • Friendly, approachable and great energy.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • WSET level 2 (but not a deal breaker).
  • Confident and knowledgeable about Spanish Wines especially those from Rioja.
  • Be confident in training, developing and passing on your wine knowledge to junior staff.

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
