VINEYARD MANAGER
New Hall Wine Estate
As one of England’s oldest commercial vineyards, New Hall Wine Estate has been a pioneering presence in the UK wine market since 1969. Founded by Bill and Sheila Greenwood and still a family-run business, the estate is situated in the Crouch Valley, Essex. Our goal is to be a flag-bearer for English Wine and in particular the still wines of the Crouch Valley region. We intend to build a reputation for consistently creating market-leading, good value accessible wines for everyday enjoyment.
The Estate extends to some 150 acres with 120 planted to vines, many of which were planted back in the 1970s. These heritage vineyards form an important part of the Estate’s identity and represent a key part of our future visitor offer, Whilst cherishing these older plantings, the Estate is embarking on a significant investment programme across the business, including ambitious vineyard re-planting plans. Having just completed the building of a new Winery, the business is positioning itself for a dynamic and exciting next phase.
These plans mean New Hall Wine Estate is now looking to strengthen its Vineyard team.
