Location: Greyfriars Vineyard, Hogs Back, Puttenham, Surrey, GU3 1AG
Hours of work: Full-time (40 hours per week). Usual working days are Tuesday – Saturday, with occasional evening, Sunday and Bank Holiday work.
What you will do:
- Be responsible for the management and delivery of our public and private tours, tasting events, wine clubs, and overall Tasting Room/Cellar Door Shop operations to drive direct to consumer sales.
- Be the first point of contact for visitors and retail customers via email, phone, social media or in person.
- Be responsible for retail e-commerce orders, including processing, packing and shipping.
- Organise and execute the successful delivery of both public and private vineyard tours and tastings.
- Lead administration of all bookings, events and retail enquiries.
- Co-manage and deliver the marketing and PR efforts of the vineyard.
- Create weekend rota and supervise junior retail team members.
- Provide all visitors to Greyfriars with a first-class experience.
- Manage the relationship between Greyfriars and third-party food providers, plus any light kitchen work required onsite.
- Be responsible for ensuring the following of opening and closing procedures and cleaning of all hospitality spaces onsite.
- Be responsible for ensuring that all hospitality spaces are clean and tidy and fully stocked at all times both in the front and back of house.

Who we are looking for:
- Someone who can provide a superb hospitality experience and customer service and will take pride in representing Greyfriars in this customer-facing role to drive direct to consumer sales.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills, quick thinking and leadership skills are essential in this job.
- Someone who is comfortable working in a varied and often physical role.
- Someone that likes being around people and enjoys communicating.
- Someone who enjoys working as part of a team and independently.
- Someone who is able to lead and easily build relationships with fellow team members and customers.
- Someone who is flexible with their availability and willing to work evenings/weekends.
- Prior experience/knowledge of wine is preferred.
- Having a sense of humour and a good work ethic is essential in this job.
- A full UK driving licence is required.
- All applicants should have the right to work in the UK.
- Able to easily bend and carry a 12kg case of wine.

Full time, 40 hours a week across five days
Usual working days are Tuesday – Saturday, with occasional evening, Sunday and Bank Holiday work
