We are on a mission to make people as passionate about the great food and drinks that we supply as we are. Our Buying & Stock Control team is vital to the operation, along with our goal of being the #1 independent delivered wholesaler in Scotland.
Beer Buyer
As a Buyer your mission is simple. To lead and control procurement activity within your category. You will get involved in a variety of projects and contribute directly to driving the overall success of the business.
- Developing a substantial commercial portfolio of World & Craft Beers
- Taking ownership of the supply chain process
- Effectively liaising with suppliers on range development and commercial terms
- Working with brand owners to create promotional revenue, whilst maximising the impact of market promotions
- Working with all key sales channels to achieve the budgeted sales and margin targets.
- Producing detailed, informative, on brand copy for all drinks listings

What we are looking for
- Must have a proven track record working in FMCG & drinks.
- We are looking for self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic people.
- Strong Knowledge of World & Craft Beers is essential.
- Attention to detail. This is super important as our reputation is built on being the best!
- Experience of stock systems is advantageous
- MS Office competent
- Excellent communication skills – written and spoken, but also listening and understanding.

- Your manager, Neil, has grown with Dunns for over three decades having joined originally as an IT graduate! He is committed to the development of the team and bringing great food and drinks products to the Scottish market.
