The Hotel Folk has a rare opportunity for a Food and Beverage Manager to join our friendly team based at The Swan at Lavenham Hotel and Spa.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in a food and beverage environment at management level. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week which will include some evening and weekend work on a rota basis.
You will be tasked with the day-to-day running of our two restaurants, lounge and outside areas which host breakfast, lunch, and dinner sittings as well as a host of afternoon teas. This role would require a minimum of three to six years in a luxury fine dining setting with events and functions including weddings.
Responsibilities
- Control and maintain restaurant service to the highest possible standard
- Responsible for efficiently carrying out stock-takes to make sure these are kept within agreed budgets
- Be tasked with ensuring rotas are planned, published and managed on our time and attendance system to budgets
- Work closely with our Head Chef to maximize revenue for both food and wine sales
- Undertake hotel duty management as and when required on a rota basis
