Role Purpose

Reporting to the Production Manager, this hands-on role is pivotal in supporting the creation and finishing of our award-winning wines. As part of our team, you will work closely on the operation of our disgorging and labelling lines, alongside performing key tasks in our Secondary Production cellar, such as stacking, riddling, packaging, and stock management.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of a thriving business within the rapidly growing English wine industry.

Key Accountabilities

• Operate and monitor disgorging and labelling lines to ensure smooth production processes.
• Perform tasks such as stacking bottles, moving and handling stillages and riddling cages, and loading/unloading materials.
• Maintain accurate production and stock records.
•  Prepare orders within tight deadlines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage the receival and dispatch of deliveries and orders.
• Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards by keeping workspaces and machinery tidy and hygienic at all times.

Role Requirements

•  A reliable, meticulous, and team-oriented individual with a practical approach to problem-solving.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality in all tasks.
• Previous experience in a winery or wine warehouse is not essential, though familiarity with machinery is advantageous.
• Physical capability to lift up to 25kg and work on your feet for extended periods.Rewards

Job Type and Salary 

• Full Time, Permanent. 40 hours per week.
• Starting salary - £23,795.20 per annum.
