We are looking for a passionate Sommelier to join our team here at ROKA Canary Wharf. Our Sommeliers are hardworking, dedicated and strive to deliver the superior level of customer service that we are known for. Our teams have bags of personality and are confident working at a fast pace whilst maintaining ROKA's high standards.

ROKA is a collection of contemporary Japanese Robatayaki restaurants. First launched in 2004 in Charlotte street, our London collection has grown to include venues in Mayfair, Canary Wharf and Aldwych. ROKA embodies the spirit of coming together and sharing a collective dining experience, (RO) symbolises the atmosphere and (KA), the heat of fire from the Robata. Roka is proud to be part of the Azumi collection.

What We Look For

Our ideal candidate embodies our values and the following:

  • Previous experience in a similar high-end restaurant as a Sommelier
  • WSET Level 2 or above (desired)
  • Sake knowledge/keen interest to learn
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great team player
  • A keen interest in Japanese cuisine
