Hedonism Wines is an award-winning independent fine wine retailer in Mayfair, selling an extensive range of over 8,000 old & new world fine wines & rare spirits.

We are looking for a Wine Buyer’s Clerk to join our small, friendly buying team handling all necessary paperwork, systems & procedures regarding buying & transferring stock.

Please note that this is not a wine buyer’s position per se – this is an administrative role within an Industry leading wine business – good wine knowledge is a definite advantage but you will also need to have a good eye for detail, excellent numeracy skills & a good telephone manner.

Previous experience of dealing with wine & spirit suppliers an advantage.

Enthusiasm & strong interpersonal skills are vital. Experience of working in a Customer Services Dept would also be valuable.

Good IT skills are essential, including knowledge of the following:

  • Basic HMTL

  • Experience with SilverStripe CMS

  • Experience with an e-commerce portal

  • Excel knowledge

    Salary is £19,000 - £23,000 dependent upon experience.
