Job Description
The responsibilities of the wine experienced sales advisor will be:
- Ensure shelves and fridges are fully stocked at all times
- General cleaning of the store in an efficient and timely manner.
- Delivery to local customers (where applicable)
- Process shop deliveries from suppliers and LCB
- Learning how provide great customer service to walk in customers.
- Inform shop management of potential account customers.
- Be pro-active when selling to existing and new clients, and upsell high margin products whenever possible.
- To assist at private client tastings in house and at corporate offices.
- Complete the required training and develop your product knowledge and sales skills.
- Support in delivering the visual merchandising of the store by reading and understanding all stores communication from Head Office.
- Develop a good understanding of the products sold by the store.
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner on and off the premises
The Successful Applicant
The successful wine experienced sales advisor will have:
- The ability to carry out their duties as required.
- Ability to plan and organise your daily routine.
- Understanding of the importance of meeting deadlines.
- Good communication and be a team player.
- Acceptable face-to-face and telephone selling skills.
- Some sales retail and customer service background desirable.
