Full job description

Windsor Racecourse is looking for Cellar Porters to join the team to assist in the set up and delivery of race days and events.

As a Cellar Porter your day to day duties will involve:

• Reporting to site supervisor/manager for general instruction.
• The movement of both stock and equipment internally on site.
• Keeping the site tidy, presentable and safe.
• Receiving and recording deliveries.
• Cellar maintenance including changing barrels.
• Moving kegs.
• Stock taking.
• Setting rooms in preparation for race days and events.

As a Cellar Porter you must be:

• Physically fit as this role requires heavy lifting and long hours on foot.
• Have a positive attitude.
• Be comfortable working alone and part of a team.
• Be able to work in high pressure environments.
• Have a desire to work in the hospitality/events industry.
• Must be 18 or over due to the nature of the position.
• A full driving license would be an advantage but is not essential.
