Business Development Manager (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Gusto Wines has a new opening for a Business Development Manager operating in Dorset and surrounding areas. You will need to live in the Geographical area for this role.

Reporting to the Owner of the business you will work to grow the sales and value of Gusto Wines by nurturing relationships with a number of customers across the Hampshire and Dorset region. You will need to create new business as the main growth driver within this region as well as manage the current client base.

We are looking for an exceptional Business Development Manager to join our team to ensure all opportunities are realised and we continue to offer a first class customer experience.

• be passionate about the industry and the world of wines

• Have experience of the South in the on-trade in an account management capacity. If no experience in selling do you have wine knowledge from store management to learn in the world of sales?

• be self-motivated, organised and driven to succeed

·         WSET Qualified Level 2 and 3 and above.

• be diligent, presentable, articulate and professional

In order to truly succeed in this role you need to be capable of and committed to:

• providing excellent account management to an existing customer base of hotels, restaurants and bars.

• prospecting and bringing on strong new business.

• demonstrating enthusiasm and understanding of a broad range of products across wines from around the world.

• You must live in the region specified. This is not a remote role or you can travel from elsewhere. You need to be immersed in the region.

• exceeding commercial and performance targets set by the business

 

Salary £30 to £40K depending on experience Basic. Plus OTE
Excellent OTE earnings on top of high level basic salary.
