VINEYARD OPERATIVE AND CELLAR ASSISTANT

Come and join the team working both in the vineyard and in the winery.
The vineyard is 9.5ha and planted with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. The winery is on-site.
In the vineyard duties include:

Compliance with health & safety policies and practices.

Tractor operations (spraying, mowing, vine trimming, leaf removal, soil cultivation)

Vine maintenance (monitoring, pruning, tying down, bud and shoot removal, leaf removal, green harvesting, picking).

Data collection, (bunch testing, disease monitoring)

General vineyard maintenance

Coordination with contracted seasonal labour
In the winery duties include wine-making and wine-monitoring under supervision of the winemaker
Qualification requirements/preferences:

skilled tractor driver holding PA1 and 3.

Winery experience or qualification

Forklift user qualification
-
valid UK driving licence
Remuneration In line with experience
