We are relocating our retail business from rural Dorset to a prime location in Salisbury next to a busy butcher’s shop… a better pairing we’ve never seen!
We are recruiting for a Manager or Assistant Manager (depending on experience) who will be crucial to this next stage in our evolution as we anticipate high footfall on a daily basis. The location benefits from ample parking so we anticipate excellent opportunity for selling cases as well as bottles. This would be a perfect opportunity for anyone from a “wine warehouse” background to move into employment with an independent company and grow with us.
The ideal candidate will already have WSET Level 3 or higher (though not essential) and be comfortable and confident recommending wines to customers, hosting tastings and show initiative to help the retail sector of the company thrive and prosper.
Your working week would consist of a four and a half day contract with the half day being Saturday (finishing at 13:30)
You would be working closely with our Managing Director, learning from him on a daily basis with a view to progressing to the role of General Manager within twelve months of employment and have the opportunity to take on greater responsibility in a more senior position in the future if desired.
Salary offered will be dependent on experience but will be industry standard or above.
