Agro-Pro is a vineyard management and consultancy firm specialising in cool
climate viticulture. Our focus is to use our knowledge and experience to
provide expert advice on a range of services that allows all of our client's
vineyards to be run efficiently and economically to achieve their
objectives. Our clients range from small independent growers to large
producers all of which have a reputation for producing premium quality
grapes for super premium wines.



As Agro-Pro's client base grows, so has our need to expand our vineyard
team. We are looking to recruit an experienced Vineyard Manager capable of
managing multiple sites in the Kent area. Reporting directly to the company
director, the successful candidate will be responsible for all of the
day-to-day tasks required in managing vineyards, ensuring all manual and
machinery work is completed to the required standard and budget. This is a
hands-on position that requires a person that can lead by example. The
majority of work will be field based during the growing season with some
office work (70%/30%).



The successful candidate should be a strong leader with a viticultural
degree and/or a minimum of 3 years vineyard management experience.
Communication is an integral part of the role and the candidate should be
proficient in giving clear, concise instructions verbally and in writing (in
English) to contractors and their work force. Accurate data gathering,
record keeping and reporting is also a key skill as is the ability to be
innovative in solving unforeseen challenges. Some aspects of the role will
involve lone working and the successful candidate should be organised and
flexible in their time management and scheduling during the growing season.
A good affiliation with vineyard machinery is paramount, as is the ability
to drive and be able to use Microsoft Office.
