Marketing & Events Manager (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

We are seeking a proactive and highly motivated full-time Marketing and Events Manager to join our talented, hardworking team.

Tasks and responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the marketing of all the aspects of the company, including wine production and retail, hospitality, weddings and accommodation. The role involves social media and email marketing, together with creating and updating marketing collateral and copywriting. 

 As an Event Manager, the candidate will liaise directly with the General Manager in the creation of events, prepare the room and materials, liaise with event partners and lead tours, tastings, and a variety of on-site and off-site events. Weekend work will be required, together with occasional evenings. 

 The ideal candidate has: 

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills

  • Perfect organisational skills, time management and attention to detail

  • Ability to demonstrate understanding of social media, an aptitude for great design and accurate copywriting in previous roles

  • Experience in running events within the drinks industry

  • Good wine knowledge and qualified to at least WSET Level 2 (or equivalent)

  • Proficient in the Office suites, and familiar with WordPress and design tools such as Canva

  • Full, clean driving licence and own transport

  • Start ASAP
